THE CHARGIT APP ARRIVES
The CHARGit App has now gone live as we look to add further benefits to our venue partners who have installed our wireless technology.
The app has been created to pinpoint wireless charging locations. Thereby, we benefit businesses that host our technology by listing them as visible wireless charging destinations.
Using the app will offer a significant boost to businesses, as it enables them to directly measure how much they benefit from being a wireless charging destination. We will be able to feedback data to venues, giving them access to information which details who, when and for how long users were in their location.
The convenience of a location, flagged up to the user via the app, will help drive footfall to venues. So, the location will benefit from increased customer dwell time while there thanks to the charging ‘top up’ culture. This sees users add 15-20% battery life which prolongs their stay in a venue and opens them up to commercial opportunity.
The CHARGit app also features push notifications. These allow businesses to communicate promotions and loyalty offers in real time to patrons. A sale, an event, loyalty offer or happy hour can all be flagged up to users. This thereby encourages extra custom and increases engagement.

CHARGit’s technology allows for multiple devices, such as smartphones, tablets and laptops to charge simultaneously through a surface, without the need for plug cables. It offers ease of use for consumers and a new service offering for businesses. Thus enabling them to enhance their customer experience.
The benefits, however, are not just for businesses. Consumers can enjoy gamification through the app while charging their device. This spans loyalty discounts, beating the clock discounts, free coffee, or two for one depending on the venue and its offering.
Hayley added: “The great thing about our app is that venues can use its data to target specific offers to certain demographics. Loyal customers, for example, who, from the data they know regularly visit the venue, can be notified via the app that a free coffee is waiting for them should they pop in. It could even be a special offer available only to them.”
